The breathalyzer Dräger 4000 is an improved and updated version of the Dräger 3820.
The measurement function is simply activated with the back-lit function button. The device is ready to use in seconds and the breath test can be performed immediately. The same button is used to navigate through the menu. The temperature range for measurements ranges from -5°C to +50°C. Thanks to its compact design, the Alcotest 4000 fits into a trouser pocket. The Dräger Alcotest® 4000 has received the IF Design Award and the Red Dot Design Award. 
The cap-protected tip is easy and intuitive to apply. When testing for sobriety with the breathalyzer Dräger Alcotest® 4000, only a small sample of air is drawn in for analysis, the remaining exhaled air is directed to the side. This ensures that no alcohol vapors remain in the device and that all measurements are accurate.
The Alcotest 4000 is made in Germany and meets the highest quality standards. Regular calibration of this device ensures that the measurement technology will remain precise for a long time.
