Handcuffs
Metal Perfecta handcuffs and a fabric belt case for hunting-ground security, duty work and self-defense kits. The range covers the HC 200, HC 500 and HC 600 models plus the HMH-01 case that keeps the restraint ready on your belt.
Handcuffs in this category are for people who treat restraint as part of their work or safety kit: gamekeepers watching private hunting grounds, security staff on rural sites and anyone building a complete self-defense setup. You will find three metal Perfecta models and a fabric case, so the full set fits on one belt.
Why handcuffs belong in a hunting-ground kit
Handcuffs matter where a person has to be held safely until the police arrive: catching poachers on private hunting grounds, guarding a remote site or running restraint training. A hunter rarely needs them on a normal outing, but a leaseholder or gamekeeper gains real control in a confrontation that would otherwise turn into a struggle.
A trespasser caught at a feeding site after dark rarely waits for a patrol car. Metal handcuffs let you end the incident without a drawn-out fight and hand the person over to officers. The same logic applies in security work, where someone has to be kept in place for half an hour or more.
Models and accessories
The category holds four items: the Perfecta HC 200, HC 500 and HC 600 metal models and the HMH-01 fabric case. Perfecta belongs to the German Umarex group, a supplier to the security and leisure market, so every model here is a classic chain-linked design with keys in the box.
Perfecta HC 200
The HC 200 is the plainest model in the line: metal bracelets joined by a chain. A sound choice for training sessions, drills with tactical gear and users who carry a restraint only occasionally.
Perfecta HC 500
The HC 500 is made of nickel-plated carbon steel, so it handles damp weather and frequent use better. It suits regular belt carry during outdoor work.
Perfecta HC 600
The HC 600 sits at the top of the series and is aimed at daily users: security staff and ground keepers who need the mechanism working after years of service.
HMH-01 case
The HMH-01 fabric case mounts on your belt. The handcuffs stay in one fixed spot instead of the bottom of a pack among keys and a knife, so you draw them one-handed without looking.
How to choose
The main question is how often and in what conditions you will carry the restraint. Training calls for a simpler model, while daily field duty needs a tougher mechanism and a proper case. Run through these points before ordering:
- Purpose: occasional use and drills, or daily work on hunting grounds and guarded sites.
- Mechanism: keys must come in the box and the lock has to work cleanly without sticking.
- Carry: a belt case keeps the restraint reachable even when seated in a vehicle or a high seat.
- Durability: for wet forest work pick plated steel that resists rust.
- The rest of the belt: think about what other gear hangs next to it so the setup stays practical.
Care and use in the field
Damp, mud and frost work against any metal mechanism, so care decides if the lock turns when you need it. After a wet patrol wipe the bracelets dry, oil the lock lightly from time to time and store the restraint in its case rather than loose among wet kit in a pack.
In winter, practise applying them with gloves on: cold fingers fumble fine movements, and a real situation leaves no time to warm up. A few dry runs at home save real trouble outside.
Legal use and responsibility
Handcuffs are a coercive tool, so the law limits their use. A private person may detain someone only in cases the law allows, for example when catching an offender at the scene, and only until the police arrive. Read the current rules before adding this item to your kit and use it lawfully.
