Knife HELLE Speider gut 04 (200004)
Helle – scout knife.
If you asked any Norwegian about their first knife, they would likely mention the scout knife with a red handle tip. The first Helle scout knives with a red tip were made in 1947. Since 1971, the knives may feature a boy or girl figure in traditional scout uniforms. These knives are designed for two main reasons: first, to be suitable for children, with a sharp blade and a comfortable handle for small hands; second, for safety, with a protruding guard to prevent hands from slipping onto the blade and a secure sheath for safe storage.
