Vibram outsole:

GORE-TEX membrane:
A waterproof, windproof, and breathable membrane material. The membrane consists of microscopic pores, each approximately 20,000 times smaller than the smallest water droplet, yet about 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule. Because of this, GORE-TEX is widely used in clothing and footwear, as it prevents sweat condensation from forming inside while reliably protecting against external moisture. Typically, GORE-TEX consists of three layers: a durable outer layer that protects the membrane from wear, a breathable membrane, and an inner layer that protects the membrane from contamination.
