The Saxnäs GTX boots weigh only about 740 grams per boot, despite being a solid, durable leather boot. The boot has a mid-height shaft of 7”/18 cm and a regular fit. The Saxnäs GTX boots feature a waterproof GORE-TEX Sierra membrane. During production, every single boot membrane is tested in a water bath to ensure waterproofness. In addition, we perform a 30-minute centrifuge spot test on 5% of the total boot production to further ensure that the membrane quality is as high as possible. The boots’ upper is made of nubuck leather, and the soles are stiff Vibram® quality soles that provide the necessary support when walking in mountainous or rocky terrain. The boots also have a shock-absorbing midsole, making them comfortable for long walks, even on very uneven ground. The boots are reinforced with an extra durable material all the way around above the sole.
