Others
This category holds smaller optics accessories for hunters: Celestron, Sightmark and SIG SAUER monoculars, Delta MiniDot collimator mounts, Swarovski adapters and rings for binoculars and monoculars, plus a ThermTec charger.
This category gathers accessories that do not fit the other optics groups but are often what makes hunting optics actually work in the field. You will find monoculars for quick glances, mounts for collimators on the rifle rail, Swarovski adapters and rings that connect binoculars or monoculars to a phone or eyepiece, and a charger for thermal gear.
Who these optics accessories are for
These parts let you adapt optics you already own to a specific hunting or range situation. A monocular replaces binoculars when you only need a quick one-eyed check on a target, an adapter turns binoculars or a monocular into a phone camera, and a mount lets you move a collimator between guns without extra tools.
Many of these solutions exist because a hunter runs different gear for different situations — one outing calls for a monocular in your pocket, another needs the full binocular setup with a phone adapter so you can photograph an animal from a distance.
Types of accessories in this category
The assortment covers four groups, each built for a different use case in the field.
Monoculars
A monocular is a compact alternative to binoculars when you want less weight in a pocket or on a strap. The Sightmark Latitude 15-45x60 and SIG SAUER Oscar 8 27-55x80mm give strong magnification for watching game at range, while the Celestron Upclose 60-45 is a lighter option for shorter distances.
Collimator mounts
Delta MiniDot mounts — the 6-14 mm and the weaver type — attach a collimator firmly to different rifle rails. A mount that holds without play matters on driven hunts, where aiming happens fast and a loose mount costs you a shot.
Swarovski adapters and rings
CA-S and CA-B adapters connect Swarovski monoculars and BTX binoculars to additional modules, while the VPA and VPA 2 phone adapters turn the optic into a digital camera. Adapter rings AR-B and AR-S fit specific Swarovski models — ATX/STX, EL 42, EL 50 — and link the optic to a phone mount.
Charger for thermal gear
The ThermTec Hunt Pro battery charger keeps thermal-imaging users equipped so the device stays running through a longer night in the field.
How to choose the right accessory
Before buying, it helps to answer a few questions about the optic you already own and how you use it.
- What device do you already have — Swarovski, SIG SAUER, or another brand — since adapters and rings are made for specific models, not universally.
- Do you want to photograph through the optic with your phone, or just watch by eye — this decides whether you need a VPA-type adapter or only a ring.
- What rail type does your rifle have — you will need to choose between a weaver mount and the narrower 6-14 mm mount.
- How often do you swap optics between guns — if often, a tool-free mount is more practical.
- Do you run thermal gear through long nights — then a spare charger in the field stops being optional.
Practical field advice
In cold and wet conditions small accessories are easy to lose or freeze up, so keep them in a separate pouch and check them before you head out. Fit an adapter ring or mount at home in advance — doing precise threading outdoors with gloves on takes time and can create noise near a stand.
If you carry a monocular instead of binoculars, keep it under a layer of clothing close to your body so it does not fog when you move from cold air into a warm car or high seat. Store the charger somewhere dry and charge batteries before you leave, not while you are already outdoors.
Brands in this category
Swarovski adapters and rings for the original binocular and monocular systems dominate this category, alongside Sightmark and SIG SAUER monoculars, a compact Celestron option, Delta collimator mounts, and a ThermTec charger for thermal devices.
