Suppressors
The last shot of the evening often pushes game off the ground for weeks. A suppressor cuts the muzzle blast enough that you can stay put after the shot and wait for the animal to return, while your hearing stays intact season after season. The range covers AimSport Triton and ASE UTRA Radien suppressors for various calibers, thread sizes and barrel lengths.

Who needs a suppressor on a hunting rifle
A suppressor suits anyone who fires a hunting rifle more than a handful of times per season and wants to protect their hearing and keep the stand quiet. It cuts muzzle report by roughly 25 to 38 decibels, so the shot is easier on the ears and disturbs less of the surrounding ground.
From a high seat, a suppressed shot lets you hear what happens around you right after firing, instead of only ringing in your ears. On a driven hunt, shooters on the line hear each other and the drive leader's calls better, even through several shots in quick succession. Hunters who shoot for years without hearing protection often report hearing loss later, and a suppressor combined with ear protection lowers that risk from the first season on.
A suppressed barrel also reduces recoil and muzzle rise during the shot. You get back on target faster and can watch the animal's reaction without a reset pause. Less kick also means a steadier hold, which matters for ethical reasons too, since a well-placed shot cuts down the chance of a wounded animal getting away.
How sound reduction actually works
A suppressor screws onto the muzzle and traps expanding powder gas in a series of internal chambers, so the sound escapes gradually instead of all at once. The result depends on the cartridge, barrel length and the unit's own design, so the same model performs slightly differently from rifle to rifle.
In practice this means the report becomes noticeably softer, though no hunting rifle ever goes fully silent. Along with the reduced sound, felt recoil drops as well, because part of the gas energy goes into the suppression process rather than pushing the rifle back into your shoulder.
What is available in the range
The range is organized by caliber, thread size and the length of each model, so every variant is built for a particular rifle setup. The AimSport Triton series covers several models numbered from smaller to larger, each matched to a specific caliber and thread, while ASE UTRA Radien rounds out the offer with models built for smaller-bore rifles.
AimSport Triton no. 3
The most compact models in the series, built for smaller calibers such as 5.7mm or 9x19mm on a 1/2x28 UNEF thread. Good for hunters who need a rifle with a mounted suppressor that still handles quickly in dense forest or thick cover.
AimSport Triton no. 4
Mid-size models with a choice of 14x1 or 15x1 thread, built for 5.7mm, 6.7mm and 7.7mm calibers. This model works for general use, from a high seat as well as on a driven hunt with a larger group.
AimSport Triton no. 5 and no. 5 FM
Larger models aimed at 7.7mm and 9.5mm calibers. The FM designation marks a different internal build with an alternate baffle arrangement, so it is worth checking which version matches your barrel and the cartridge you shoot.
AimSport Triton no. 6
Built for stronger calibers such as 8.6mm, these are the largest models in the series, fitted with a 15x1 thread. They suit hunters working with larger game, such as wild boar or red deer, and running a heavier cartridge line.
ASE UTRA Radien
This series is built for cal. 223 and 6.5mm rifles, with a thread choice of 14x1, 15x1 or 18x1. ASE UTRA is a well known name in Scandinavian hunting, where cold, wet weather calls for corrosion-resistant construction and reliable performance without much upkeep.
How to choose the right model
Before ordering, you need a few facts about your own rifle, otherwise it is easy to buy a unit that will not thread onto your barrel.
- Check the barrel thread, most commonly 14x1, 15x1, 18x1 or 1/2x28 UNEF, depending on the rifle model and maker.
- Match the bore diameter to your caliber, too small damages the unit, too large cuts its effectiveness.
- Weigh length against weight, a longer suppressor generally cuts more sound but adds weight up front and can make offhand aiming harder.
- Think about how you hunt, a larger, quieter model suits a high seat, while a compact one suits a driven hunt where you swing the rifle between targets fast.
- Check the model code on the product listing, it states both caliber and thread, which avoids an ordering mistake before you check out.
Field advice
Mount and remove the suppressor carefully, since the thread heats up after a dozen or so shots and can be harder to turn. Use gloves or wait for the barrel to cool, otherwise you risk a burn or forcing the thread with too much pressure.
After a hunt in wet weather or snow, dry the unit out so moisture does not sit inside and start corroding the thread or the internal baffles. Before you pack it away, check the thread for mud or snow residue, since that makes the next mount harder out in the field.
A longer model adds to the rifle's overall length, so handle it carefully in the car or the boat to avoid knocking it against a door or the bank. Hunting with a dog, keep in mind that a long muzzle end can catch on branches when you move through thick undergrowth.
Buying a suppressor in Lithuania is subject to firearms regulations, so check the current rules against your own firearms licence before ordering, since requirements depend on the weapon category and your licence type.
Why AimSport and ASE UTRA
Both makers build for hunting rifles rather than target shooting alone, so their models hold up against cold, damp and mud through the autumn and winter season. The AimSport Triton series gives you a wide spread of caliber and thread options, while ASE UTRA Radien fills out the cal. 223 and 6.5mm end of the range, calibers common in roe deer and wild boar hunting across Lithuania.
If you need other muzzle-end options, check the compensators or flash hiders, and find the right mount or spare part under accessories and parts. If you are not sure which model fits your rifle, write to us and we will help you match it by caliber and thread.
